Traditional prenatal classes are great for covering labour, but that is 1-2 days (hopefully), what about everything after labour? My preparing for baby consult helps mamas feel prepared and confident with knowing how to care for their newborn, start off on the right path with breastfeeding and a few tips to help with sleep in the early months. After baby is born nurses and midwives do help you a lot, however, sadly they are not able to cover all these topics in-depth, like my consults

This is a great question that I get asked frequently. I believe that a mama and baby need to create a trusting, positive, and reassuring relationship while learning how to sleep. With our consult we go through different techniques to help you find the right fit for teaching your baby how to go to sleep. Now I can not guarantee there won’t be any crying, as this is a hard phase to go through. I do guarantee with our sleep plan that you and I create and with consistency, you both will be sleeping in no time!
Every child is different and learning new sleep skills takes time. Most parents do see results within a couple of days, if they remain consistent, persistent and patient.
